The 15 Year Reunion is this weekend, so I wanted to post a couple relevant details for those who plan on attending.
Football game
Kick-off is at 7:30. General admission tickets can be purchased at the gate. A few of us will get there a little early and try to stake claim to part of one of the general admission sections. Keep an eye out for a “Class of 1995″ banner which will mark our spot.
After the football game, if you would like to go out, we will wander over to downtown for some drinks.
Picnic
1pm-5pm @ Siesta Beach
We have reserved one of the pavilions for the picnic. Keep an eye out for the same “Class of 1995″ banner from the football game. The barbecue will be served very close to 1pm, so please try to be there pretty close to the start of the picnic.
If you have not purchased a ticket for the picnic… there will not be BBQ for you. We had to turn in our headcount to the Oaks one week in advance of the picnic. If you do plan on attending, but not buying a ticket… feel free to bring your own food, but please contribute $3 per person towards the cost to rent the pavilion.
I do have a couple small requests of everyone who is attending the picnic…
1. No glass containers of any kind
2. Please keep in mind a lot of families with kids will be at the picnic. Adult beverages are allowed… just use your best judgment on quantity, etc.

Friday, October 15:
Sarasota High vs. Southeast High football game – 7pm
Tickets are $5 for general admission seating. Children aged 6 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm
We are looking into locations for a post party. Those details will be posted here as well as on the Facebook page when they are set in stone.
Saturday, October 16:
Picnic at Siesta Beach – 1pm to 5pm
We have reserved the pavilion at Siesta Beach and The Oaks BBQ will be catering the picnic. There will be three different choices of meats, as well as different sides, drinks, etc.
Adults – $15 each
Children (under 13) – $10 each
Tickets
Deadline to purchase picnic and/or football game tickets is September 30th.

If you are purchasing multiple tickets, you will need to add a picnic and/or game ticket for each person who plans to attend. Simply select each item to purchase and click the “Add to Cart” button. To then add a different item, click the “Continue Shopping” link on the Shopping Cart page to return to this page… and repeat the process. 10/15 – SHS home game against Southeast
10/16 – BBQ/Picnic at Siesta
The cost for the football game is $5 per ticket, and the BBQ will cost roughly $10-12 per person. Expect the total cost to be close to $20 per person for both the football game and Siesta beach picnic. We will work out a child price, etc for families.

Five years ago, we had a great content management system up and running for the SailorAlumni.com website. We eventually had to bring it down, as a flaw in the site was exploited by hackers.
This site will not attempt to duplicate functionality that is now standard on sites like Facebook. Rather, this site will be a message place to reach out to Sarasota High Class of 1995 alumni who do not use the social networking sites.
